Favicon Explorer

Ok, by now you know what Favicons are. If not, bookmark this page (IE) and then look at the bookmark. See the pretty little icon next to the title of the bookmark? That’s an icon loading off my server. Mozilla users can see the Favicon in the address bar next to the URL.

So what’s the Favicon Explorer of Doom(tm)? I was curious what the big sites used for favicons and how many had implemented them. This tool shows you the favicons of the top 500 english websites acording to Alexa. Have fun.
